Refuge pays teachers through Stripe, straight to your bank account. You set this up once, on Stripe's own pages, and Refuge never sees your bank details.
To start, choose "My earnings" from the menu under your name at the top of the page, then "Set up direct payment". Stripe asks who you are and for your bank account, and may ask for tax details. It takes a few minutes. When you are done, Stripe brings you back to your earnings page.
If Stripe needs anything more, your earnings page says "Finish setting up", and Stripe tells you exactly what is missing. Anything you are owed while you finish stays recorded and is not lost.
Live classes are settled twice a month. Everything else, such as recordings sold on their own, your share of the Library and referral rewards, is settled once a quarter. My earnings page shows each period, and you are told when a payment has been sent.
To change your bank account later, choose "Update your bank details" on the same page.
