Messages are private conversations between you and one other person. Only the two of you can read one, unless somebody reports a message to the team.
To write to somebody:
1. Find them in the member directory, beside their post in the Lounge, or on a teacher's page. 2. Press "Message". In the Lounge it is under the "..." beside a post. 3. Write, and press "Send".
Your conversations are under "Messages" in the menu under your name. Open one to read it and reply in the box at the bottom.

To delete a message you sent, open "Delete this message" under it and press "Delete it". It goes for both of you and cannot be brought back. "Clear this conversation" removes it from your own list only, and the other person keeps their copy.
To report a message, open "Report this message" under it, say what is wrong if you like, and press "Report it to the team".
To block somebody, open "Block" with their name at the bottom of the conversation and press "Block them". Neither of you can write to the other, and they are not told. Unblock them in the same place, or on the "Directory and messages" tab of "Profile and settings".
To stop members writing to you, open that tab, untick "Let members send me messages" and press "Save your message choice". The team can still write to you.
You get one email for each conversation until you read it. To turn these emails off, untick "Messages" on the Notices tab of "Profile and settings".
